Sound Design Live eBook
Q: What format should I buy?
A: The “other ” format is the most compatible. You can open it in iBooks, Nook, and almost any desktop reader. The “Kindle” version will open in Kindle and Kindle apps only (as far as I know) and requires a couple of steps. See below.
Q: Do I need a Kindle or Nook to read your book?
A: Hell no! You can read it on your phone or tablet or desktop. There are lots of free eReaders out there. Just give it a Google. I use iBooks on my iPhone. A reader recently told me that they use Kitabu for Mac.
Q: How do I get the eBook into iTunes and onto my iPhone or iPad?
A: Open iTunes. Navigate to Books. From the File menu select Add To Library and choose the eBook file. Sync all books with your phone.
Q: How do I get the eBook onto my Kindle?
A: Easy! If you use Dropbox, open it on your phone or tablet. Dropbox can’t read the file, but tap the arrow icon on the bottom right and then “Open in Kindle.” This technique should work in Google Drive as well. If you don’t have either of those apps, just email it to Amazon with these instructions.
